The Marine National Park Headquarters, National Park Service, Ministry of the Interior is a government organization, and is funded annually in accordance with related government laws (such as Budget Act) and needs of operation policies. The budget is reviewed by competent authorities and then sent to the Legislative Yuan for deliberation. When it has passed the approval of the Legislative Yuan, the budget is then used to execute various marine resource research, conservation, investigation and monitoring projects, to maintain marine biodiversity and promote marine resource sustainability.
